Absences, Late Arrivals and Vacations

If your child is late to school, please go to the administration office. A late pass will be given to your child to be handed to the class teacher. Students who arrive after 10:30am will be marked as absent for the session.

or send an email to your child's teacher providing a reason for their absence on or prior to their absence.

As a school we are unable to support the absence of students for vacations during term time. All vacation leave taken during the term will be marked as an 'unauthorised absence'. Parents are asked to complete the Application for Extended Absence form and return it to the office prior to the leave being taken.  You can email this form to: southerngrove.ps@education.wa.edu.au
